This Refund Policy explains how refunds, reversals, cancellations and the return of funds from an account balance may be handled on the CarryLane platform.
By using the CarryLane platform, the User confirms that they have read and understood this Refund Policy and agree to it.
Contents15 sections
1. General provisions
The CarryLane platform provides access to automated crypto-portfolio management tools, trading strategies, internal platform rewards, wallet services and related features.
Because of the nature of cryptocurrency transactions, blockchain networks and automatic strategy activation, refunds may be limited and subject to specific conditions.
This Policy applies to:
- deposits
- activated trading strategies
- available account balances
- withdrawals
- internal rewards
- incorrect or unsupported transactions
- refunds related to the operation of the platform.
2. Deposits
Deposits made on the CarryLane platform are credited to the User's account balance after the required network confirmations and internal processing.
Once a deposit has been credited, the funds become available for use within the platform.
As a rule, deposits are not returned to the originating wallet unless CarryLane determines that a return is technically possible, lawful and appropriate in the circumstances.
The User must ensure that:
- the correct wallet address is used
- the correct blockchain network is selected
- the asset being deposited is supported by the CarryLane platform
- the deposit amount meets the applicable minimum requirements.
CarryLane is not responsible for losses caused by an incorrect wallet address, unsupported networks or assets, blockchain errors or the User's own errors.
3. Activated trading strategies
Once an automated trading strategy is activated, the allocated funds are committed to that strategy.
The User cannot manually stop an activated strategy unless that option is provided in the platform interface.
However, a strategy may stop automatically in adverse market conditions, including where its algorithm determines that profitability cannot be maintained over the short, medium or long term.
If a strategy stops in those circumstances, the remaining allocated funds may be returned to the User's account balance in accordance with the platform's internal rules and the strategy's operating logic.
4. Profit and return of funds
CarryLane strategies are designed to operate when market volatility is sufficient.
Profitability depends on market volatility and on the strategy algorithm's ability to use that volatility. It does not depend solely on the direction of cryptocurrency prices.
If the strategy algorithm determines that continued operation is not viable under current or expected market conditions, the strategy may stop automatically and the invested funds may be returned to the User's balance.
Returned funds are credited to the internal account balance and may be used to activate future strategies or withdrawn if withdrawals are available and the account conditions are met.
5. Withdrawals
The User may request a withdrawal from their available account balance.
Withdrawals are processed in approximately 1–3 minutes, subject to all platform, security, account and network conditions. A newly added withdrawal address is subject to a 24-hour security hold for each currency before its first use.
CarryLane charges a fee for withdrawal to an external address based on the investor rank held when the request is submitted: from 3% of the requested amount at the entry-level Spot rank to 0% at CarryLane Prime. The fee is deducted from the withdrawal amount. The applicable rate, fee amount and amount to be received are displayed to the User before confirmation. If a separate blockchain network fee applies, its amount is also displayed before confirmation; CarryLane may cover it in full on certain networks.
Nevertheless, withdrawals may be delayed, restricted or referred for review in circumstances involving:
- suspicious activity
- account security checks
- incorrect withdrawal details
- unsupported wallet addresses
- compliance or AML review
- technical problems
- blockchain network delays
- force majeure.
Once a withdrawal has been sent to a blockchain network, it may be impossible to reverse.
6. No reversal of completed blockchain transactions
Cryptocurrency operations and blockchain transactions are generally irreversible.
CarryLane cannot guarantee the recovery or reversal of transactions that have already been confirmed or transmitted to a blockchain network.
This includes, without limitation:
- deposits sent to incorrect addresses
- deposits sent through unsupported networks
- deposits made with unsupported assets
- withdrawals sent to incorrect wallet addresses
- transactions affected by blockchain congestion
- losses caused by User error.
The User must carefully check all transaction details before confirming a deposit or withdrawal.
7. Incorrect or unsupported deposits
If the User sends funds through an unsupported network, using an unsupported asset, an incorrect memo or tag, or an incorrect wallet address, CarryLane may be unable to return the funds.
Where recovery is technically possible, CarryLane may attempt to assist the User at its own discretion.
Recovery is not guaranteed and may depend on:
- blockchain network limitations
- wallet provider limitations
- asset compatibility
- technical feasibility
- security and compliance checks.
An additional recovery fee may be charged if third-party or technical recovery procedures are required.
8. Duplicate or erroneous debits
If the User believes that their balance has been debited incorrectly or twice, or that a platform processing error has occurred, they should contact CarryLane support as soon as possible.
CarryLane may review account activity and transaction history to determine whether an adjustment is appropriate.
If a platform error is confirmed, CarryLane may adjust the balance, reverse an internal transaction or provide another appropriate remedy.
9. Referral and bonus rewards
Referral rewards, rank bonuses, promotional bonuses or other incentives may be cancelled, adjusted or withheld if credited in error or obtained through suspicious, artificial or prohibited activity.
This may include:
- fictitious referrals
- self-referrals
- bonus manipulation
- artificial turnover
- abuse of multiple accounts
- misleading promotional activity
- breach of the Terms of Use.
No refund or compensation is provided for cancelled rewards resulting from abuse or a breach of the rules.
10. Account suspension or termination
If an account is suspended, restricted or terminated for reasons involving security, fraud, AML, sanctions or a breach of policy, CarryLane may delay or restrict refunds, withdrawals, balance adjustments or access to rewards while a review is conducted.
Where required by law or necessary to protect Users and the platform, CarryLane may freeze account activity or refuse to process particular transactions.
11. Force majeure and market disruption
Refunds may be unavailable where losses, delays or service failures result from events beyond CarryLane's reasonable control, including:
- blockchain failures
- exchange failures
- cyberattacks
- war or political instability
- regulatory restrictions
- natural disasters
- severe market disruption
- internet or infrastructure outages
- third-party provider failures
- other force majeure events.
CarryLane may take reasonable steps to protect User balances and platform stability during such events.
12. How to submit a refund review request
To request a review, the User should contact CarryLane support and provide:
- the registered email address
- the transaction identifier or hash, if applicable
- the transaction date and amount
- the wallet address used
- a description of the problem
- screenshots or supporting material, if available.
CarryLane may request further information to verify the request and protect the account.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval of a refund, transaction reversal or balance adjustment.
13. Review time
CarryLane aims to review refund-related requests as quickly as reasonably possible.
Review time may vary depending on:
- the complexity of the issue
- the condition of the blockchain network
- the type of transaction
- security checks
- AML or compliance checks
- the availability of supporting information
- the response time of a third-party provider.
14. Changes to this Policy
CarryLane may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to platform services, blockchain conditions, internal procedures, legal requirements or risk-management practices.
The updated version will be posted on the platform with a new “Last updated” date.
Continued use of the CarryLane platform after an update means that the User accepts the revised Refund Policy.
