01

Carry cannot be built in one department

A carry trade begins in the market but ends as a specific entry in an investor’s account. Between those points are opportunity selection, two-sided execution, collateral, risk control and a clear interface. A failure in any link changes what a client sees.

That is why people with different responsibilities work side by side at CarryLane. They do not need identical views of the market; they need a shared responsibility to connect strategy mechanics with contract terms and the account record.

02

Product and infrastructure

Alexander Reyes, CEO and co-founder, leads company strategy, partnerships and product development. His remit connects what investors are offered with how CarryLane develops as a company.

Marc Lefebvre, CTO and co-founder, leads platform architecture, trade execution and infrastructure. This is where a strategy becomes a repeatable process and the interface must reflect a real operation rather than a polished simulation.

03

Models and risk boundaries

Daniel Novak, Head of Quant, leads carry models, trade selection and hedging algorithms. A model must do more than spot a premium; it needs to assess what remains after costs and execution.

Maya Chen, Head of Risk & Compliance, oversees risk limits, asset security and regulatory matters. Her discipline sets the boundaries within which a strategy can operate and the rules that protect investor operations.

04

What this structure means for investors

Investors see the result of that collaboration in practical details: terms are visible before activation, operations pass checks, credits have a record and account settings actually control access. No single person or screen can provide all of that alone.

The About page introduces each team member and their role. This article is not a set of biographies; it explains why trading, engineering and risk management need to meet inside one product.
