One dashboard, one understandable record of funds

Why CarryLane treats the path from deposit to statement as part of the product, not an afterthought.

Transparent ledger layers connected by one traceable line
01

Clarity starts before activation

Before confirming, an investor should see the amount, term, payout mode, current rate, fee and date at which funds may return to available balance. These are not an appendix to the product; they are the terms of the decision.

A marketing page can introduce the idea; it cannot replace the specific contract card. Activation is where a general story about carry becomes a personal commitment for a selected term.

02

A balance is built from events

Deposit, contract allocation, credit, payout, fee and withdrawal are distinct operations. Showing them separately helps an investor tell which funds remain in a strategy and which are already available.

The record should preserve that sequence even when an error is corrected. A correction leaves its own trace rather than silently rewriting the past.

03

A statement connects the screen to reality

The dashboard lets investors review activity and generate statements. A useful statement does more than repeat a final balance: it helps reconcile dates and amounts with what happened in the contract and wallet.

That record can support personal bookkeeping and information prepared for a tax adviser or another financial institution. Individual obligations depend on jurisdiction, so the platform provides the entries rather than calculating each investor’s tax.

04

The principle that holds the product together

Strategy, accounting and dashboard should tell the same story. If a number changes on screen, there should be an identifiable event behind it. If an event is not yet complete, its status should say so.

At CarryLane, that is not an optional “trust feature” to add after launch. It is a way to build a product in which an investor can return to a decision and inspect how it played out.
